A plane crashed into a residential building in Southern California and took life of five people: a pilot and four local residents.

Orange County lieutenant Corey Martino reported that the pilot was killed as a result of the crash, as well as four house residents which the plane hit. Two more were hospitalized with burns and injuries.

The plane that crashed is the Cessna 414A. It fell shortly after takeoff from Fullerton Municipal Airport. Footage from the scene shows parts of the aircraft scattered on the roofs of nearby houses and on the ground.

The accident investigator Eliot Simpson noted that the wreckage is scattered in four quarters.

It is reported that four residents of the house — two males and two females — died from the fire. No other identifying information such as names of the victims or ages was yet disclosed.
