On February 6, President Trump delivered his 2019 State of the Union speech. In his speech, he addressed to Judah Smith, 81, who was among those who survived last year’s shooting attack on the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh. Trump mentioned that it was not the only time Juda narrowly escaped death. He also survived 10 months in a Nazi concentration camp during the Holocaust.

When President announced it was Juda’s 81st birthday today, members of Congress applauded and broke into song. Trump conducted the congressmen as they sang Happy Birthday, and after they finished, said: “They wouldn’t do that for me, Juda.”
