The Chicago Fire Department reported that two people died this morning as a result of a fire in a house in the backyard.

According to the firefighters, they accepted the call at about 8:37 in the morning on a fire in a two-story house in the 2000 quarter on West 53rd Street. The fire was localized.

Firefighters said the teenager and the man were locked in the attic and died. The authorities do not specify their identities.

Despite the extreme cold, the firemen said that there were no water problems in the fight against fire.

Firefighters find out the cause and origin of the fire. CFD said there was no smoke detector in the attic.
