The brother of a jailed Saudi activist, Lojayna Alatlula, described in detail his thoughts about his sister being allegedly imprisoned.

In the article, the man says that during a recent visit of his parents to her sister, she told them that she was regularly beaten, abused, electrocuted, and sexually harried in the basement, which she called the “Palace of Terror”.

The girl was arrested in May 2018, along with 10 other activists for the rights of women in Saudi Arabia. Her family, Saudi activists and Human Rights Watch claim that in recent months, she and other female penitentiaries have been persecuted and sexually harried in jail.

They also state that the former chief adviser to the crown prince Mohammed bin Salman Saud al-Qahtani was present at least at one of the interrogations.
