According to Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department report, a 50-year-old woman crashed into two vehicles before dropping her child off at Nagel Middle School in Anderson Township, Ohio.
The officials that the woman was driving her Mazda 3 just after 8 a.m. on Nagel Road when she swerved into the oncoming cars while turning right into the school.
The woman, whose name is Ellen Craven was charged with OVI and child endangerment.
According to the report, “Craven continued into the student drop off lane where her vehicle struck a second vehicle”.
After she struck two vehicles, she dropped her child off and tried to leave, however, her car stopped working.
The officials believe that drug/medication intoxication could have caused the incident.
Craven is now awaiting a hearing in her case in the Hamilton County Justice Center.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is conduction an investigation into the incident.
