At least 21 people died as a result of the Taliban terrorist group attacks in Afghanistan.
‘The Taliban have killed more than 21 people during their recent attacks in Afghanistan, including 11 policemen in an attack on a checkpoint in the northern Baghlan province,’ the source said.
The head of the Provincial Council of Baghlan Safder Mohsini said the Taliban attacked the checkpoint on Monday night, the shootout lasted for about two hours.
He added that 11 policemen were killed and five more injured.
As Mohsini said the Taliban managed to seize weapons and ammunition before Afghan police came.
According to the governor of the northern province Samangan, Sedik Aziz, on Monday the Taliban attacked the village, where the expected pro-government insurgents. As a result of the attack ten people died, four were injured.
The Taliban took responsibility for both incidents.
