The string winds and rain blew down a huge 60-foot tree across Hillsdale Avenue near Almaden Expressway in San Jose. No one was injured, but the police rerouted eastbound traffic a lane of westbound traffic.

Pacific Gas and Electric Company was trying to fix the power lines in the pouring rain as people reported to have lost electricity near Lawrence Expressway. In an Jose, over 1,800 people lost power before 6 a.m. due to the storm.

Traffic lights were off, and the treating the intersection at Winchester Boulevard and Moorpark Avenue left untreated.

The part of Hicks Road was blocked due to a landslide, about a mile and a half from Camden Avenue.

The officials concerned the clean-up may take several days due to the rains.
