Moscow authorities are ready to support the initiative to install a memorial plaque on the house where rap singer Kirill Tolmatsky, better known as Decl, lived. Chairman of the Moscow City Duma Commission on Culture and Mass Communications Yevgeny Gerasimov reported this today.

“If there is a proposal, financing, then, of course, the opinion of the residents of Moscow, admirers of his talent, the inhabitants of this house will be taken into account,” he said.

Gerasimov added that, as a rule, commemorative plates appear 10 years after the death of a person. “This is a long-standing rule; it does not change in Moscow – it filters its heroes,” he noted.

The death of Decl became known on the morning of February 3. According to his concert director Pavel Belents, the 35-year-old rapper performed in Izhevsk. After the concert, he went to the dressing room, where after a few minutes he suddenly became ill, and he died. The cause of death was cardiac arrest.
